Frankfurt Airport Terminal 2

Frankfurt Airport Terminal 2 has capacity to host over 15 million passengers per year. It began operations in 1994, and hosts concourse D and E.

Terminal 2 hosts both international and domestic flights.

It is possible to transfer between Terminal 1C gate and 2D gate by direct access.

Transport between terminals

To transfer between the airport terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 are adjacent each other and connected via Skyline monorail (departing every 2-3 minutes) and by a free shuttle bus (every 20 minutes).


Frankfurt Airport Terminal 2 is formed by 2 levels as it follows:

- Ground level: It is home of the baggage claim of both D & E concourses, security check and access to E gates 21 to 26 and 2 to 13, and access to D gates 1 to 17 and 50 to 54. Other services offered to passengers: Rental car booths, meeting point.

- Level 1: Find in this level access to D gates 1 to 54 and E gates 21 to 26. Other services to passengers: Pharmacy.
